This is the card I made for TCP Tuesday...
This is the first time I've tried my hand at a challenge at The Cats Pajamas...I can't quite figure out if it should be (TCPTUES219) or (TCPTUES220).....I guess I'll go with 219!
The challenge was:
Use any TCP Bear stamp. This should be super
easy because there are so many! Combine your bear stamp with one of these
CutUps dies:Queen of Hearts or
I just got this cute Bear holding a package stamp...thinking that I might use him on my christmas cards this year....it's nice to see that he works just as well for birthdays!
I shaded his body with...what else ..Chalk...mostly because they were sitting open on my desk!
The package was paper pieced with a scrap from my stash . The ribbon and bow were paper pieced with sugar coated cardstock from Doodlebug... the color is called Ladybug.
I chose to use the Apron Border die....love the loopies...inside each loop ..if you look close , is a glassy looking dot...these are called rain dots by cloud 9 design. I've had them forever...I may be dating myself here!
Finally , I die cut the letters HB2U from cardstock using a quickutz alphabet called Aquarius...and since they looked a little naked...I outlined them with black marker slashes.
Now, to figure out something cute for the inside....please feel free to coment and leave me some suggestions....you know what they say..." it takes a village" to make a card..............or was that to raise a child.? Either way I'd love to hear from you...
till next time,
