Playing along with the challenge

on splitcoaststampers today.

It's all about using doodles on your card. Here's what I did:

 

 

 

To start I smeared Three colors of distress ink right from the pad onto my teflon craft sheet,

then I spritzed the pad with a little water to activate the ink.

Next just lay down a piece of watercolor paper and press to blot up some of the color...repeat till you like what you come up with.

 

 

With the background done, next I stamped "celebrate" ( a paper smooches stamp)

and the used this neat little stamp I got from Another Stamp Company.

Now comes the doodle part...

for me this was scary...one big opportunity to mess this up good!

But I took a deep breath and just  drew a freehand border.

I made it thick and thin and filled in with circles.

 

It was so much fun I did it again on the inside:
