Early Valentine

 

 

Am I the only one who can't remember what day of the week it is?

 

Monday!

 

Ok, now that we have that straight.....here's a card I made yesterday:

 

 

Very simple, very sweet...

I made it to honor the Featured Stamper over on Splitcoaststampers

She is Cary aka  Miss Minx

I chose this card of hers to CASE:

 



 

The CAS quality about this card in her gallery quickly captured my eye.
I changed the thank you panel to I love you.
I changed the apple to a heart
and I added a stick pin.

December Birthday

 

 

This week on Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge the

challenge is to "Bling it Up".

 

I needed a birthday card , so this is what I came up with.....

notice the lime green sparkly superfine glitter....I spilled the jar...!

I think my craft room and I shall sparkle till the new year!!!!!

Christmas is less than a week away, so I'm trying to get some

presents wrapped. I made this tag for my granddaughter's package.

 

 OK you guys....I have no idea where this snow is coming from!

I must be doing something but I have no idea what...it is pretty cool though!

 

Any how, todays challenge on Splitcoaststampers is to make a tag!

Yea! Done!

Warm Wishes

 

It's STILL snowing - so I'm sending you all Warm Wishes!

So glad to be staying in my craft room where its warm and toasty today.

Vintage Christmas

 

Last Saturday's Challenge on Kraftin' Kimmie's Blog

was to make a card with a  "Vintage Christmas" theme

using a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp.

I chose to use the stamp set "You're So Cool" by Cheryl Alger.

I tried my best to get the vintage look...what do you think?

some how I associate vintage with lace and flowers,

 but that wasn't working with my little boy image.

I used patterned paper from my stash (don't remember who makes it).

Die cut the oval with nestabilities.The lacy edge is an oval die from My Favorite Things.

Added some ribbon and a small scallop edge (another die from MFT)

and wa-la the card was done!

Oh, yea...I forgot the best part ... coloring the little guy with my copics!

Guess what I have on my wish list for Christmas...yep ...more copics!

Hi!

I started out to make a Christmas card....because I'm no where near done yet...

But somewhere along the way it turned into a Valentine's Day card!

Hey, no worries....I'll need one of them soon.

Here it is:

 

I don't know the source of the little snowman stamp but he sure is a cutie!

(Belongs to my friend Nancy, who let me borrow him)

The heart  is a Quikutz Revolution die.

The papers came from doodlebug.

The three little hearts are there because I needed one to cover up an ink smudge!

I was just to lazy to restamp the sentiment ...which by the way is from papersmooches.

Papertrey Christmas Houses

 

I'm totally in the Christmas mood!

 

Making these cute little Christmas Houses did the trick.

 

and here's a green one:

 

 

They're  4 1/2"long x  3 1/2"wide x 5 1/2"high,

just the right size to lift off the roof and tuck in a

treat bag full of special Christmas cookies!

 

Hats off to my friend Denna, who first introduced me to these houses.

And Hats off to Kittie Caracciolo from whose blog I totally tried to copy

the wonderful houses she made a few years ago.
