Vintage Christmas

 

Last Saturday's Challenge on Kraftin' Kimmie's Blog

was to make a card with a  "Vintage Christmas" theme

using a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp.

I chose to use the stamp set "You're So Cool" by Cheryl Alger.

I tried my best to get the vintage look...what do you think?

some how I associate vintage with lace and flowers,

 but that wasn't working with my little boy image.

I used patterned paper from my stash (don't remember who makes it).

Die cut the oval with nestabilities.The lacy edge is an oval die from My Favorite Things.

Added some ribbon and a small scallop edge (another die from MFT)

and wa-la the card was done!

Oh, yea...I forgot the best part ... coloring the little guy with my copics!

Guess what I have on my wish list for Christmas...yep ...more copics!
