Hello!
It's good to get back to my blog...sorry I was away so long.
I did have a wonderful vacation , started knitting again ,and joined the quilting
group at church.
Today I'm playing along with the Tuesday challenge on The Cat's Pajamas Blog.
It's a color challenge to use the colors Kraft, Rose and Vanilla.
Here's my card:
This looks awfully pink on my monitor, but IRL it is a pretty rose.
I did a lot of paper piecing on this, but the green grass part didn't look right with a grass die-cut , so I ended up just scribbling in the grass with a dark green marker.
I'm making this card for my daughter to give to a co-worker who is retiring next week.
Here's what I did on the inside:
This is what it says:
The joy of retirement
is having nothing to do
and all day to do it!
So why is it that I'm retired and still don't have enough hours in the day?
Thanks for stopping by.
till next time,
Doni
