Enough Snow already!

This is the card I made for the
The challenge was to add a little texture, so I used the
Simon Says Stamp stencil- Falling snow with white embossing paste.
Once it was dry, I added a little color to the raised snow dots with copic marker # b00
Next I adhered this panel to a blue top folding card base and cut out a circle through both layers.
I used a MFT die to cut out the conversation bubble around my own heart felt sentiment that I typed on the computer!
Here's the inside with the puppy positioned to peek out of the hole on the front.
Brr...still cold. I think I'll go back to making spring time cards!
Stay warm and happy.

looking forward to spring

So, with sub zero temps outside my window, I find myself desperately
looking forward to spring!
Check out today's Paper Smooches Challenge.
I'm glad it is  Anything Goes so that I can do the spring thing!
I love this little bird from the Paper Smooches spring fling stamp set.
I call him Chester!
I kept the layout pretty clean and simple, with patterned paper on the bottom.
I used Copic markers
R81-pink flower
YR02 and YR68-orange flower and beak
YG13-leaf and little brush flicks to look like grass
FY1- Chester
Thanks for stopping by.

think SPRING

Today I'm playing along with the
High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Challenge # 152
You can check out their blog HERE
I only have one High Hopes stamp.
( Christmas theme and I'm so NOT in the mood to make a Christmas card!)
The blog does offer one really cute digi stamp, so that's what I used.
What do you think?
I'm still not sure about the sentiment being cut out ....
but,'s done already!
thanks for stopping by.

New Baby

My great-great nephew made his way into the world this morning.
That inspired me to make this card:
Here's the inside:
