Cake

Hello!

Today we have a new Challenge over at Addicted to Clean and Simple.

Challenge  #79 is hosted by  Jaydee.

The code word is CAKE.

 This was a fun card to make.

I used the Art Impressions stamp called Deep Breath Birthday.

 

I just wanted the cake, so I masked off the cute fish.

The word celebrate is a Paper Smooches stamp which I embossed in black .

The picture makes it look like it has little white dots in it...but that's just the light reflection.

I colored the cake with Copic Markers 

and then stamped and cut out  another cake to use as a mask.

By using the mask over the cake I was able to lightly sponge the background

using Tim Holtz distress ink (spun sugar).

I wanted a little bit of sparkle, but the sequins looked too big,

so I used the glue pen and made some tiny dots and then sprinkled 

pink glitter ( Doodlebug sugar coating).
