Today we have a new code word at Addicted to CAS.
I happened to have Tim Holtz's Crazy Bird Accessories Stamp sitting on my desk
and I noticed that  there was a package that's what I used and came up with this card:

I stamped the packages  with Versamark and then used detail black powder to emboss them.
Then I masked off a vertical panel ( used post it notes to do this), in which  I
did a little rainbow sponging.
I did a really cool inside which I liked so much I kept it
for the front of another card ( see below)...anyhow I made another inside.
Here it is:

Here's the second card :

Getting the box to appear open was achieved with a little masking trial and other words, quite a few gift boxes got trashed before I got the top to meet the bottom right!  LOL!

here's what I did for the inside:

I think I actually like the second card the best!

I hope I've inspired you to join our "GIFT" Challenge.
This great code word  was picked by Deepti

  7. WOW!!! Those are awesome designs Doni! Love the stack of gifts and masked coloring.

  8. Two really fabulous cards, Doni! I love your ink blending on the first one, and how you masked the gift on the 2nd card! Clever, fun, and very cool!

  9. I love both cards, Doni... but I think my favorite is the first one. I love the black gifts on the multicolored vertical stripe. Love the inside, too.

  10. So that stripe of colour is a super cool idea. I'm going to have to give that a try!

  11. I love the colours on these cards - they are so vibrant - may I ask what you used to colour them with?

    1. The sponging was done with Tim Holtz Distress Ink and the colored images with Copic Markers
