Hello!

Welcome is the new code word at Addicted to CAS.

 

This challenge is hosted by the lovely Bhavana.

 

Here's my take on the code word:

 I immediately thought of this great sentiment from a stamp set 

by Papertrey Ink called Homemade.

I wanted to use the tiny houses to represent a neighborhood

but it was a  Memory box die and I didn't want to use it that way,

so I die cut it out of masking paper and used those tiny masks to 

make my neighborhood. 

After masking off the bottom of the card I sponged away!

 One of the great things about the distress inks is the way they react to water.

So. I dipped my hand in water and flicked my fingers and wa-la..cool looking background!

I hope it inspires you to play along !
