Welcome to a new challenge from Addicted to Clean and Simple.

Jaydee picked the perfect code word for our
4th Birthday Celebration!!!

Here's my card in honor of this special occasion:

The gold sparkle flowers are a little hard to get a good  picture.
Here's a closer look:
I really love the  gold sparkle .
I think you can tell from this picture, that I die cut the
word Congratulations four times and glued them together to get a rich dimension.
Here's the supplies I used:
cream cardstock
black cardstock
MFT Blueprints #13 Die-namics
"Halo" embossing powder from  Sparkle & Sprinkle
rubber flower stamp ( sorry I don't know the source, it's so old that
I just have it filed under miscellaneous!)

Thanks for visiting my blog today!
I hope you can link up your own celebration card
because we have lots of great gifts from our wonderful sponsors up for grabs.

Christmas Critter

Today I'm playing along with the Simon Says Stamp
Wednesday Challenge
This week the challenge is "Christmas Critters".

I used Rubbernecker stamp- freehand frame and dog with big eyes.
The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn - merry messages.
And the cute Santa hat is from Tim Holtz - crazy birds and things.

I was also going to enter it in this weeks Less is more challenge.
It's a one layer card challenge, however the theme is books/literature...
duh, this dog is cute  but not very literary !
Oh well, I am not very good at combining challenges.

'till next time,

Welcome to a new challenge from Addicted to Clean and Simple.

Barb chose the word Ombre' for us to use.

Here's my card:
I chose to use a monotone ombre' look.
The color is called ripe persimmon....isn't it yummy!...
It's a distress ink by Tim Holtz.

I started by heat embossing the happy birthday (source unknown for this stamp)
and the balloon (W plus 9- unforgettable stamp set).
Then I masked the balloon and sponged away ...starting at the bottom and
getting lighter on the way up. Then I masked off everything BUT the balloon and did the same thing.
To finish the card I attatched the sponged panel to some black and white stripe paper,
and centered it on a matching solid color card base. and just for the heck of it I tossed in some persimmon pearls.
This is going to a good friend whose birthday is at the end of the week.
Here's what I did on the inside:

Thanks for looking.
'till next time,
