The Holidays are past and my house is back to normal (or almost!)
So today I'm working on the Journaling Bible that I just got.
What better place to start than In The Beginning.

I went on pinterest, searched for Bible Journaling
and found TONS of beautiful ideas!
I printed out this one that I liked and then put it on my light box
and traced it onto the Bible page.
I'm coloring it with my Prismacolor pencils.
I found it helpful to put a hard acrylic sheet (left over from some packaging)
behind the page I'm working on.

Thanks for stopping by.
Here's hoping for a great 2017 for us all!

  2. Great project ! I´m not familar with those Journaling Bible but it´s a trend, right ? I see it often. I wonder if the ink on the back comes through. Or is the paper thick enough that it does not happen?

  3. Imke, the pages are very thin but the ink doesn't bleed thru too much... but that's why I'm using colored pencils to color with. I'm sure my copics would really mess it up.
I've seen where some people spread a thin coat of Gesso and let it dry before starting
    their design.
