Hi!
Welcome to the From The Heart Stamps March Blog Hop.
We have a Spring Theme this month.
Our designers are each showing a project
created with this theme.
I made a shaker card focusing on only the pretty flowers and the little bee, of course!
and I used today's sketch #165 :

To do the front, I used a die to cut the circle then I made the petals to put
around the circle by tracing around a petal shape that I drew freehand
and cut them out of practice paper where I had been playing around with yellow watercolor splashes.
The sentiment was stamped using Versafine grey ink, cut into a banner shape
and attached on top of the flower.
Then to make the shaker part...place this front panel face down
so you're working on the back side
adhere acrylic( cut a little bigger) over the circle
add 3-M Scotch double sided foam tape(two layers high)
around the circle.
A tip I learned from K.Werner is to remove the covering from both sides of the tape and then it goes around the circle curve really easy.
Add some pretty sparkle thing to shake around inside this circle.
Then you also need to add 2 layers of tape in spots around the edge of the card .
I then cut a 5 1/2 inch by 4 1/4 inch card front from the sheet of paper
that has the colored image , checking to make sure the image shows through the window.
Attach this to the back of the card front and your done.
If I have totally confused you, just go to YouTube and search for Shaker Cards!
Here's what I did on the inside:
The sentiment is from Hero Arts.
and see what she has
created. As you hop along, leave a comment on each blog.
We will select a
random winner from the comments
on each blog to
win one image of your choice.
Our hop will end on Sunday March 12th 2017 at 6 am,
and the winners will be posted on Wednesday March 15th.
Thanks for hopping with us today.
'till next time,
Doni
