Hi !
Time for a new code word from Addicted To Clean and Simple.

This really was a challenge for me.
I wasn't even really sure what grunge was.
Google says its a very unique style, like torn tattered or messy.
I went with messy:

I used a stamp from Rubbernecker. It's a two part stamp...You can find it HERE.
I stamped the first part with memento black and the
second part (the wine and splashes)  were colored
with a Stampin-Up real red marker.
The sentiment is a stamp from Art Impressions.

Hope you like it.

Less is More

Today's challenge at  Less is More
is to use stripes.
I thought these black & white stripes were pretty cool,
so I used them as a background. Sure hope this still qualifies as Clean & Simple!

OK, so after I linked this up to Less is More I didn't think it looked very CAS....
so I gave it another try and came up with this:
Much better!
Thanks for looking!

sketch challenge

Monday's are sketch challenge times for
Here's my card for this week:

Here's the sketch:
Sektch # 1

I made a standard A2 card rather than a square card.
I actually used a paper punch to punch out the tiny red dots
and used a circle die to get the placement.
I just taped the circle dye on the card front
with re-moveable tape and glued the dots around it.
The cute felt heart was rescued from my overflowing jar of
store bought embellishments.

Hope you can find time to play along with us this  week.

It's my turn to host the challenge and I picked the word "Rainbow".

Here's my card:
I wanted to use this really cool silhouette stamp by
Technique Junkies called Rain Dance, however
I wanted it to be rainbow colored.
So...I grabbed my StampinUp markers ,
colored in rainbow stripes onto the stamp and Huffed!
Boy, it's been a long time since I had to huff on a stamp to keep the ink from drying!
I even like the way the colors are not totally solid.
The sentiment is from a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp.

I can't wait to see all your beautiful colors in this challenge RAINBOW gallery!

FTHS April Blog Hop

Welcome to the From The Heart Stamps April Blog Hop.
Our theme this month is ....I'm no spring chicken!
(tell me about it!  lol)

If you have arrived from Calypso's Blog , you are in the right place,
if not why don’t you start on the From The Heart Stamps Blog so you don’t miss anything.

Here is my project, using Spectacular Birdbrain:

This also is my sample for this weeks sketch challenge.
Here's the sketch:
I really liked the loopy border
and I new I had a straight loopy border die cut from The Cat's Pajamas. here's how I got it to follow the curve without puckering:
by cutting little notches in the bottom. Easy peasy!

Birdbrain is colored with copic markers and I added a little sparkle to
the red eyeglasses with clear Wink of Stella on the frame part and
 Glossy Accents on the lenses.

Oh, and I found the perfect little sentiment ( still look like a spring chick!)
on the Birthday Candle Birdbrain set.

Thanks for stopping by.

Now head over to Imke's Blog.
and see what she has created. As you hop along, leave a comment on each blog.
We will select a random winner from the comments
on each blog to win one image of your choice.
Our hop will end on Sunday April 9th 2017 at 6 am,
and the winners will be posted on Wednesday April 13th.
