Hi !
Time for a new code word from Addicted To Clean and Simple.
This code word sounds like it would be easy, but I've really
had a hard time deciding which  stamp is my favorite!
I finally decided it is which ever stamp I happen to be using at the time! lol

This week I'm into Halloween, so I'm really liking this adorable Frankie
stamp from Hero Arts.

Here's the card I made with him:

I made the dots using the eraser end of new pencils as a stamp.
I used Distress Inks
Ripe Persimmon, Dusty Concord and Twisted Citron.

Thanks for stopping by.

Today I'm entering the Color Throwdown
with this card:

yep got those colors.

 Simon Says Stamp -
This week the challenge is
Pop it up

Yep, Frankie is popped up!
(please ignore the cat hair on Frankie's arm!)

Frankie is a cute stamp set from Hero Arts
and the BOO! is from Paper Smooches.
I put Wink of Stella - Black on Frankie's suit jacket ,
pants and shoes for a little sparkle.

Here's what the inside looks like:

Oh, so true!

Hope you're  having a good day!

Black Cats

I can hardly believe that it's  the last of September already!
Guess that means Halloween is right around the corner, so that's
what I made today....a Halloween card.

the challenge is to use a Die Cut on your card.

Hopefully this will count as clean & simple.

Here's what I used:
grey cardstock card base
black cardstock with a circle cut out of it using
Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles Die
orange & yellow watercolor sample from my stash
Lawn Fawn picket fence border die
Impression Obsession cat dies
Studio-g  Happy Halloween  stamp
white embossing powder

The standing cat and the fence are both 4 die cuts thick
which IRL  gives the card some extra interest.

Thanks for stopping by.

Just wanted to share a couple of cards that I made today.

This first one I'm going to submit to Less is More

This second one I'm sending to my sister-in-law who is coming for a visit
at the end of the month.
It was fun using some older stamps...I think the bunny stamp is from 2011.
Here's  quick look at what I used:

Hi !
Time for a new code word from Addicted To Clean and Simple.
Our sponsor for this challenge is
Here's my take on the code word:

I used a Penny Black die (51-008 bashful)
which I colored with copic markers
The hello is from a Simon Says Stamp set called sending happy thoughts
for the white background I used
MFT Die-namics
Blueprints #13
 Stitched Basic Edges

To add extra interest and dimension
the flowers are 4 layers thick
and the hello has some glimmer from Wink of Stella- clear.

Ya know, that green does not look near that neon in real life! (just sayin')

Thanks for looking!

polar bear hello

I'm playing along with  Color Throwdown today.

Here's what I came up with:

card recipe:
white cardstock
navy blue cardstock
printed paper from Amy Tangerine 6x6 paper pad
Poppy stamps - hello background die
My Favorite things - Polar Bear Pals stamp set

I paper pieced the scarf from the printed paper
and popped the bear up with pop dots ,
it's hard to tell from the picture

here's a closer look:

Get well soon!

Today I'm playing along with CAS(E) this sketch.

Here's my take on it:
and here's what I did on the inside:

The get well soon is from Lawn Fawn
The inside sentiment is from Words to the Rescue
For the sweet little floral bouquet I used a stamp from Amy Tangerine

had to do some creative masking off to only get the flowers but i think it was worth it!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Hi !
Time for a new code word from Addicted To Clean and Simple.
This time I am playing Hostess and I chose the word Apples.
I made this card for my Granddaughter who will be a senior in high school this year.
And yes, I only used one apple and the code word is apples
but, close enough! Right?

 Here's the inside:
I used the cute little apples from the  Lawn Fawns Thanks a Bushel stamp set.
I used my computer to print the inside sentiment.

Hope you can play along with us!
Thanks for stopping by!!
