It's time for the last cue word of 2017 from CASology.
Here's my card:

I used Lawn Fawn Stamps and Copic markers...easy peasy!

Jump for joy stamp set for the words
and I found the heart on the Push Here stamp set
The colors are R17, R29, and R59

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
this week is featuring Lawn Fawn stamps
and the challenge is "anything goes" so
I'm linking up there also.

Happy New Year!

silver butterfly

This is the card I made to link up to CASology  this week.

In real life the center butterfly is embossed in a glittery silver
and what in the picture looks like a poor stamp job really is the background
texture weave pattern showing through.

I think on the inside I'll put slots for a gift card and have it say Happy Birthday.

Merry Christmoose

Today I'd like to share with you a Christmas card I made
to play along with challenges at
Here's my card:
and the sketch:
I used stamps from Sugar Pea
Because I wanted a silhouette of the larger moose head,
I stamped the large moose on white cardstock and then colored in
just the head with Copic 110 (black) and fussy cut it out.
Then popped the silhouette and the rectangle up on foam dots.

The SSS Wednesday challenge was " Stitch"
so I added black stitch lines around the white rectangle
(MFT stitched rounded rectangle stax dies).

Here's what it looks like:

I think I like it better!

Thanks for stopping by.

one layer & Christmas tag

Monday ...and I love being retired!
I have nothing that I have to do today...yea!
Free time, so I'm playing in my craft room.
Scroll down if you're looking for the Christmas Tag.

Here's the card I made for the challenge over at Less is More.
I used the digi stamp from "From The Heart Stamps".
I love this little guy. His name is Birdbrain.
After I printed him, I also printed another one to use as a mask.
After I masked the image, I sponged some distress ink on the background.
I was going to spray some water to add some interest to the background,
however... I grabbed the wrong little spray bottle
 and squirted glimmer mist instead.
Oh well, a happy mistake !

On to my next project:

Tags for all my nieces.

I'm also entering this at Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge.

Here's a better picture of just one of them:

I used the scallop circle tag die from Pretty Pink Posh
and the Merry Christmas circle frame from My Favorite Things.
And used the computer to print the message.

Hi !
Time for a new code word from Addicted To Clean and Simple.
This weeks challenge is hosted by Kylie
and she chose the code word Sparkle.
Here's my take on that word:

a closer look:

I used sparkle gold and silver washi tape
that I could easily cut to the width I wanted.
I put the tape on cardstock and then used that to die cut the ornament.
I used the My Favorite Things Christmas Ornaments Die & Stamp Set.

The sentiment is from The Cat's Pajamas. In hindsight,
I wish I would have stamped the sentiment in white ink rather than embossing it.
I think it would have been easier to read.

Hope you can play along with our Sparkle challenge.
Our sponsor is Happy Little Stampers
and they are offering a $15 gift certificate as the prize.
'till next time,
