Sweet Winter Scene

Hi everyone!
Here's the card I made for the Dies R Us  Inspiration Blog.
Most all of my Christmas cards are already in the mail, but I just couldn't resist making one more!

I started by die cutting the Memory Box Woodland Bridge Frame from white card stock.
Memory Box - Dies - Woodland Bridge Frame
I just used the inside frame and did not use the little bridge part or the white deer .
To create the winter background I  cut 3 trees out of dark green card stock placed them on the bottom of a piece of light blue card stock that was cut the perfect size to fit under the frame.
Next I added snow with a white Uni-Ball Signo Pen, putting lots on the branches and just a light dotting of flakes in the sky.

The white deer did not show up so I cut another one from some light tan paper, added him to the bottom right of the frame with foam tape . Then matted the whole thing with black card stock.
The Merry Christmas was cut from the same dark green as the trees and adhered to the bottom of the card front and wa-la it was done!

Below, you'll find the list of the supplies I used with links to the Dies R Us Store for your convenience.

Memory Box - Dies - Woodland Bridge Frame

Little B - Dies - Trees

Card Deco - Dies - Merry Christmas

Uni-Ball Signo

Gnome Christmas Shaker

Hi!
Christmas is fast approaching and thankfully, I have all my Christmas shopping done.
It helps that I'm retired and the grandkids are all old enough that all
they want is gift cards!  LOL!

So today I'm making Christmas cards to hold the gift cards.
Here's what I created this morning:

I love shaker cards...this one was pretty easy. I used The My Favorite Things
Die-Namics Stitched Dome Frames to make the shaker window.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Thanks

Hi everyone!
Today I have a new post for Dies Are Us.

Here's my THANKS shaker card:

It's always nice to have a thank you card on hand.  I think this one would work for anyone
depending on what you put on the inside.

To start cut 2 of the same size frames. Put foam tape on the back of one.
On the other frame put double sided sticky tape on the back and then attach it
to a piece of clear acetate, then trim off the excess acetate.
Set these aside for the moment and assemble your card front.
Select pretty papers and cut the center paper the same size as your frames.
Sprinkle a pile of pretty shaker stuff ( beads, sequins, etc.) directly in the center .
Remember to keep them away from the edges.

Next, take the frames you started with and attach the frame with the clear acetate
to the top of the other frame with adhesive ( making sure that the foam tape is on the bottom).
Now all you have to do is remove the paper from the foam tape and center your frame over the
center panel and your shaker front is done! ...Well, almost... die cut the word thanks
and add it to the front.  Here's a closer look:

At the moment, this thanks die is out of stock, but you can type thanks in the DSU search bar and find lots of Dies that will work just as well.
Here's another view:

Below, you'll find the list of the dies I used with links to the Dies R Us Store for your convenience.
Doodlebug - Paper Pad - 6

Memory Box - Dies - Open Studio - Wrapped Stitch Frames

Lawn Fawn - Scripty Thanks Dies

Christmas Non traditional colors

Hi!
Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps.
The theme Julie has chosen is Christmas with non traditional colors.

I started off by looking through my stash of printed Christmas paper.
I soon came across this pretty purple paper and I thought the cute little penguins would look cute
with pink Santa hats.

Here's  what all I used:
Merry Christmas sentiment stamp from Happy Little Stampers
Versamark stamp pad and Detail White Embossing Powder
Sweet Holiday Penguins stamp set and Die set from My Favorite Things
vellum and Stitched Hillside Borders Die from Lawn Fawn
Copic Markers

A quick tip:  To get the sweet cheeks on the penguins,
I used E 93 and then blended the edges out with Copic 0 ( colorless blender).

Thanks so much for looking!

'till next time,
Doni

Snow Globe

Hi everyone! It's Doni here bringing you a Snow Globe Christmas card.

To start I stamped the images I wanted from the Lawn Fawn Ready- Set- Snow set,
Colored them with Copic markers and cut them out using the matching dies.

As you can see ( on the left side of the picture above), I also cut a mask from some thin white paper.
I used this to sponge the snow globe sky.

Next, just add the  finished stamped images to globe.

Now create a card front to add the globe onto. This is what I did:

 The finished card:

Below, you'll find the list of the dies I used with links to the Dies R Us Store for your convenience.

It Moose be Christmas

Hi!

I'm mixing it up today and using both the colors and the sketch which I have turned sideways.
Here's my card:
I've had this stamp set from Sweet Pea Designs for quite awhile, but it's one of my favorites.

In fact, I used this cute little Moose on this card I made this morning:

Dear Santa

Hi!
Exciting news, I'm a brand new member of the Dies R Us Inspiration Design Team!
This is my first card:

These are the dies I used:

Lawn Fawn - Snowfall Backdrop: Landscape Die

Impression Obsession - Dies - Santa On Roof

Penny Black - Dies - Winter Cheer

Memory Box - Dies - Open Studio - Wrapped Stitch Frames

I started with the Snowfall Backdrop die which is a landscape die, but I wanted to use it vertically.

So, first I die cut the Snowfall Backdrop, layered it over white card stock, then cut the panel down to the size of the black frame I was using.

I cut the Dear Santa twice, once out of red glitter paper, again out of black card stock and then layered them together for a shadow effect.

I'm entering this over at the Merry Little Christmas Blog.

Humorous

Hi!
I'm playing along with The Sisterhood Of Crafters .
They would like us to Share A Little Humor , so here's what I have to share:
This cracked me up when I first saw it at a Stamp show, it's a
Funny Bones stamp # RWD-226By Riley & Company.

The paper was in my stash, so I have no idea where it's from, but it was perfect for this card!
It's hard to tell from the photo, but the humorous panel is popped up with foam tape.

I love easy peasy !

Hi!
It's time for a new challenge at Addicted To Stamps Challenge Blog..
November's challenge isAnything Goes with the option of ribbon .
I chose not to use the option of using ribbon. Here's my card:
I used the really cute stamp from StampingBella
called 'Tiny Townie loves balloons'.

Here's the copics I used to color her:
Skin - E00, E11
Hair - C5, C7, C9
Dress and Balloons - B12, B14, B16....R32, R14, R8
Y13, Y15, Y17...YR 16
girl was outlined with B000

The clouds were cut using the Lawn Fawn
Lawn Cuts - simple puffy cloud frames
The center panel was popped up with foam tape.

Here's what I did on the inside:
The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp - Birthday Messages.

This gives plenty of space to write a Happy Birthday message.
