As January winds down, I find myself looking
forward to February and that means Valentines!

Here's what I made:
A valentine treat box.

I'm entering this in challenge #21 on the LAWN FAWNatics Challenge Blog.
Here's the inspiration board:

I was inspired by the pinks and the reds and the heart shapes.

I used:
Lawn Fawn -Scalloped Treat Box Die
Lawn Fawn - Tiny Tags Sayings ( stamp and dies)
Lawn Fawn - Jump for Joy stamp set
MFT Die-Namics - stitched rounded rectangle stax
( to cut out the window )
plastic packaging scrap ( also for the window)
foam tape ( to pop up the critter)
 and pink baker's twine
colored with Copics (YR18, E09)
and filled with red Hershey Kisses!

It was all I could do to NOT eat those kisses!!

Thinking of you

Hi !
Time for a new code word from Addicted To Clean and Simple.
Our hostess for this challenge is the terrifically talented Barb and she
chose the word "Ombre"
Here's my card:
I began by stamping the sentiment ( Sending Happy Thoughts stamp set)
from Simon Says Stamp with VersaMark and sprinkling on
white embossing powder.
I used My Favorite Things Layered Heart Die-Namics
to cut a stencil and then centered the heart over the sentiment.
Next came Candy Apple Distress ink .
I started blending at the top and when I got to the sentiment , all this white stuff got all over my blending tool!! Duh...I had forgotten to heat emboss the lettering!

So, I started all over again! this time it went a lot better,
except there was this little tiny speck
right above the heart.
Of course your eye went right to it and it really bugged me,
so.. a few tiny sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were needed to hide the speck!
Whew! Calling this card done before  I have time to mess it up any more!  lol

Thanks for stopping by.

I'd like to share with you a card I made for
  Here's the sketch:
Here's what I used:
Hero Arts - stencil
Distress Inks- cracked pistachio, Peacock Feathers,
Tumbled Glass, and Blueprint Sketch
Spellbinders - classic diamonds
My Favorite Things - Die-Namics(celebrate)
I layered the celebrate the celebrate (3 layers- 2 white, 1 blue)
and offset the white a little behind the top blue.
I think it added some much needed dimension.

I'm also linking this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
While I had my brain in the Blue mold...
I made this Baby shower card for my great niece's  shower tomorrow.
I had done a card like this awhile ago
with different colors and flowers for a bridal shower.

Can you tell she's having a boy?! lol

Thanks for stopping by.

Love is in the air!

Another wave of bad weather is sweeping across Ohio again.
This morning I (and about a million other people) went
to the grocery store !  So now that I've stocked up enough to keep me and the
two cats well fed until about April.....
Now I get to craft myself silly!

This is what I'm working on:

I used a Essentials by Ellen stamp set
a sentiment from Art Impressions
and patterned paper from a 6" Glitz Paper Pack
I'm linking this up to

Stay warm!

It's time for our first challenge of 2018!

Stephanie is our new designer, so it's only fitting that she
is the hostess for the new year's first challenge.
She chose the word 'MUSIC'.
Here's my card:
This cute little guy is a digi stamp
from Sassy Cheryl called 'Don't stop the music'.
The sentiment is from Purple Onion Designs.

After I  got him the size I wanted, I printed him once on white
cardstock and then again on scrap paper which I then fussy cut
 and used as a mask.
Then I sponged ripe persimmon and mustard seed ( Distress Inks)
and then removed the mask.
Then colored him with Copics.
