Hi !
Time for a new code word from Addicted To Clean and Simple.
Bobby is our hostess and she chose the word RAIN.
Here's what that word inspired me to make:
I used Lawn Fawn's Simple Puffy Cloud Frames die
and cut four clouds which I layered together for added dimension.

I wanted nice big raindrops so I looked through
my word dies and found the center of the b in celebrate was perfect!

I cut lots of pretty raindrops from lots of pretty colors
and I also layer four drops together
so that they were the same height as the cloud.
Then I added Wink of Stella (clear) to the raindrops for a little sparkle!

I can't wait to see what the code word inspires you to make!

I spent this rainy afternoon looking at You Tube videos!
I'm totally addicted...if it's not that it's Pinterest!!!

But it's all good... here's what I was inspired to try this afternoon:

Check out Cynde Whitlow's video to see what all I learned this afternoon!

While I was coloring the flowers (and almost done) the green copic marker
that I was using dripped a big blob on the leaf!!!!
I tried to fix it...using the colorless blender...  then tried a gold marker...
see the dots along the edge of the flowers?
It still looked like crap so I stamped another small flower , colored it and fussy cut it. ...popped it over the blob and Hurray.. I didn't have to throw the whole thing in the trash!

So now I can link this up to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

Thanks for looking!

I can't believe this Sunday will be Easter!
Still time to make a few cards and send them out...
so this is one I made today  that I'm linking up to
CAS on Friday: challenge #129

To make this I sponged distress ink on a scrap of paper
(worn lipstick- mustard seed- mowed lawn )
Then cut the word Easter ( Simon Says Stamp Easter Die ) using the pretty sponged paper.
Stamped the sentiment sending (from Hero Arts- with sympathy)
and Blessings ( from Technique Tuesday Greenhouse 12-12 )
I used grey ink

This looked a little empty, so I added some tiny eggs and sweet little birdie -
these were sitting on my desk left over from making the Easter card boxes!

It still was missing something, so I added light grey shadows  under the letters
and eggs with copic Co and C2.

Hope you like it.

Thinking of you

I made a card today using the colors from this week's challenge
over at Color Throwdown , which are black, white & peach!
I'm also entering it at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
The challenge there is - floral frenzy.

 I cut the black stripes and adhered them to a 4 x 5 1/4
white stitched panel ( MFT -Blueprints # 13)
Then I put this onto a black card base.

The flowers ( from Pretty Pink Posh- Cherry Blossoms)
were colored with copic markers  R32 and R43.
I used a Sakura black glaze gloss pen to accentuate the flower stamens.

Thanks for looking!

I'm sharing two cards today.
The first one is to enter

Challenge #128 - Celebration card with sequins

 over at CAS on Friday.
I used these two dies:

The stamps I used is the wild Rose set from Pretty Pink Posh.
I also used foam tape, copic markers and of course ...sequins!

For the next card
the theme is Easter and I'm entering it at

I love these box cards!
Lots of colors and you can use lots of different stamps and
make cute scenes.

Here's some more.
I'll be doing a bunch more of these before Easter!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Celebrate Easter

Today I made a card to link up with
the sketch challenge over at Paper Smooches.
I used the spring fling stamp set.

Here's a closer look:

I used a SU embossing folder on the strip of orange.

I was going to use the sentiment on the
spring fling stamp set ( Have a joyous Easter)..
however, it looked too small for the space so I
used the stamp CELEBRATE from the sentiment sampler set
and put Happy Easter on the inside.

Thanks for looking!

Pink, Kraft, Grey

Today's card is using the colors from this week's challenge
of grey, kraft and pink.

The lighter grey panel is 4 layers thick .
The top layer is cut from a really old patterned paper
from Basic Grey.
I used My Favorite Things Die-namics (stitched rounded rectangle stack)
to cut these layers.
The wreath was cut using a die from The Cat's Pajamas.
The leaves and the flowers were cut using dies from Impression Obsession.
Tiny enamel dots finished it off.
Oh, and I almost forgot, the sentiment is from
Lawn Fawn- treat yourself.

Good Luck!

Hi !
Time for a new code word from Addicted To Clean and Simple.
Jaydee is our hostess and she chose the word LUCK.

Here's where that word took me:
 One of my favorite characters...
Birdbrain !
I sure do miss Faith, and all the girls on the design team at
From The Heart Stamps .
You can read more about it HERE.
Back to today's card.
I used the stitched circles die from Simon Says Stamp
to cut the circle from green cardstock.
I placed it over top of the digi image of Birdbrain
that I had colored with copics.
Put a little Wink of Stella on the shamrock  to make it sparkly.
The sentiment is from a My Favorite Things  a'la mode stamp called Wishing you luck.
I used Versafine ink and heat embossed it in white.
That was one of the first stamps in my collection! , has my collection grown since then! lol!!

It's hard to believe it's March already.
Sure glad that you could stop by today.
Can't wait to see what the code word inspires you to create.

'till next time,
