Golden Butterfly

Time for a new code word from Addicted To Clean and Simple.
Carolyn is our hostess and she chose the word GOLD.

Gold and shine just seem to go together.

Here's what I used:
Thank You die from Poppy Dies
Butterfly from Memory Box (Lunette Butterfly)
Gold stripe paper from Pink Paislee ( Luxe)
Black card base

Hope you can join us this week.

CAS Thank YouI

This is the card I made today.
I was cleaning off my desk( because there was so much stuff on the desk I couldn't
find any space to work) and I found a stamp from MSE- My Sentiments Exactly,
the pretty flower stamp from Neat & Tangled and some great colorful stripes from
Lawn Fawn in their Really Rainbow 6x6 paper pack.
I thought they all worked well together.

Dragon Box

I had a wonderful weekend crop with lots of scrapbooking friends.
We went to the Wallhouse Hotel in Walnut Creek.
I spent the weekend making box cards...and eating...and laughing...did I mention

Here's just one of the box cards I worked on:

...a closer look:

I've really become addicted to these box cards!

Made this one also:

The box die I use is from Lawn Fawn.
There are lots of videos on You Tube
that show you step by step how to assemble them.

So much fun ... give it a try!

Glitz and Glam

Playing in my craft room today.
This is what I made:
Depending upon what you put inside ,
this could be for a 50th Birthday or a 50th Wedding Anniversary.

Here's a closer look at the center panel:
I used black cardstock, Stamped the Simon Says Stamp(Lattice Grid Background)
with VersaMark then heat embossed it using Black Sparkle embossing powder.

I also used The uncorked die collection from Papertrey
to cut out the word Celebrate from gold glitter paper.

The 50 was from a gold glitter sticker sheet (remember when we used stickers? lol)
The cute circle frame is cut from a Waffle Flower die called Flower Circles Inverted.

This week the challenge is : Sparkle and Shine.

Hi !
Time for a new code word from Addicted To Clean and Simple.
Anja is our hostess and she chose the word BUBBLES.

Here's what I came up with:

I used the black & white stripe paper pack from My Favorite Things.
I also found out that if you look at that stripe for too long it messes with your eyes! lol

The cute little penguin is from The Cat's Pajamas.
I needed a birthday card so I found the words I wanted on three different stamps.
On each stamp I taped off all the words that I didn't want, stamped with versamark...
removed the tape and then stamped them on black card stock... coated with detail white embossing powder and then  heat embossed them. I'll be honest, it took about 4 tries to get them lined up
the way I wanted them!

It was fun coloring the bubbles! You can't tell from the picture, but the colored bubbles
have wink of stella (clear) with Glossy Accents on top of them.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday

I'm entering  the card I made today
They are celebrating 9 years this week,
so they are giving away 9 fifty dollar gift certificates to their store.
Wouldn't that be wonderful to win one of those!

Here's my first entry:

This card reminds me of my Mother. She loved butterflies!

I used the Butterfly Birthday stamp set from Happy Little Stampers
and colored it with copic markers.
The sentiment came from Stampendous.

Thanks for stopping by.
