I made a birthday card for a friend.
I was inspired by the My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge.

I started by creating a galaxy background with my distress inks.

I used the MFT Space Explorer stamp set . After I colored this cute space explorer
and used the die to cut him out, I didn't like all the white space between the balloon strings
so I took my C7 Copic marker and colored in those areas. Then I added just a few tiny white dots
with my Signo uni-ball white pen. It really does look a lot better.
The whole panel was popped up using foam tape.
The sentiment is from the MFT Anything -but-basic friendship stamp set that was just released.
I stamped it with Versamark on black card stock and heat embossed it with
detail white embossing powder. This sentiment strip was also popped up using foam tape.
Time for breakfast....don't ask me why I was wide awake at 5:30 this morning!!
