Thinking of You

Hi everyone!
 Today and I have a
lovely no special occasion card to share.
I love the dimension of the sentiment banner and hopefully
you can see the little bit of shimmer
I put on the open parts of the leaves in this closer look:

Oh well, maybe not so much.... you can see way more sparkle IRL.

Below are the supplies I used to make this card:

Sue Wilson Designs - Background Collection - Linear Leaf
Lawn Fawn - Wavy Sayings Stamps
Lawn Fawn - Fancy Wavy Bannner Dies

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.

'till next time,

I like the dimension you get when you stack up the die cuts.
Here's a closer look:

This card by Lisa Addesa was my inspiration.

2 scoops

Hi!
Happy Wednesday!
Time for a new challenge over at Little Red Wagon.
  I'm the hostess this week.
The theme I chose is summer fun.
That means  what you all like to do for fun in the summer,
such as: boating, swimming, catching frogs, playing with squirt guns,
making somemores...well you get the idea!
Here's what I like to do....eat! lol :)

Hope you can pop over to Little Red Wagon
and play along with us.

'till next time,
Doni

Sea it

Hi!
Happy Wednesday!
There is a new challenge up at Little Red Wagon.
This week Imke challenges us to create a card about the sea.

I found two little fishies that like to swim in the sea!

I've named them Clyde and Rufus!  lol
I created the background by sponging Distress Ink-salty ocean, chipped sapphire and seedless preserves onto the bottom right corner then flicking some water onto it.
The fishies are from Rubbernecker stamps. I stamped them on white , colored with Copic Markers and then fussy cut them out. Hard to tell from the picture, but they have black glaze gloss for their eyes and Wink of Stella on their fins. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp - Best Fishes.
I can't wait to see all your underwater treasures!
'till next time,
Doni

Mr. & Mrs.

Hi!
I'm playing along with today's CAS Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers.
The theme is June Weddings.
I don't have any weddings to go to this month,
but it will be nice to have a card ready to go when I do need it!

supplies used:
 Cuttlebug embossing folder - oxford
Tutti Designs Die- stitched nesting hearts
Sue Wilson craft dies - Mr & Mrs
Simon Says Stamp - Holiday Shapes (tiny hearts)
Embossed vellum
holographic glitter paper

Instead of using foam tape to pop up the large heart shape
I cut out 5 hearts and glued them all together.
....I have TONS of scrap white card stock, so this is quite cost effective!

'till next time,

Hello

Hi!
Today I'm sharing a CAS summer scene.
I just love this cute garden gate die from Memory Box and the sweet cats from
Impression Obsession's are just the right size to sit on and beside it.
Add a little snip-it of basic grass and a few little flowers to complete the scene.
Here's how I made the flowers look so sweet:
As you can see the tiny little flowers are flat. To give them dimension,
place them right side up on some fun foam then gently press down in the center with
an embossing tool. This curves the petals up. To finish I added a seed bead in the center.
I used glossy accents for this, but any adhesive that dries clear would work.

I placed my scene in the lower left of the card front. This left lots of room for
whatever sentiment you would want to use.
I used The Hand Lettered Hello stamp set from W plus 9.
After it was all done, I noticed that the
white gate on the white card base was a little hard to see so I outlined the right sides of the
gate boards with my B00 Copic Marker. I think it did make the gate stand out a little.

Below are the supplies I used to make this card:

Guy Card

Hi!
Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Addicted To Stamps Challenge
Danoesja chose "For a Boy or Man" as this month's theme.

I used two stamp sets. Shark Bites and Shark Frenzy,
both by Newton's Nook Designs.

This is definitely not a girly fru-fru card!

Here's what I did on the inside:

Can you hear the music from the movie "JAWS"
duunnn dunnn... duuuunnnn duun... duuunnnnnnnn dun
You can listen to it here

This was a fun card to make!

'till next time,
Doni
