Friends

Hi!
This will be my last post for about 8 weeks. I fell 2 weeks ago and dislocated and fractured my shoulder. It just will not stay in the socket so tomorrow I'm getting a brand new shoulder.
I won't have any new cards to post, but I will be checking in a lot so feel free to leave lots of messages. I'm getting much better using the curser left handed...lol
love,
Doni

I got the idea for this card from the Meow You Doin' stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
The sentiment on the bottom says Let's Be Friends Furever, however the letters are all the same size
and I wanted to use the friends die cut which is way larger.
so this is what I did:
I used the "s" from the sympathy die. Cut both dies out of the same color ,
cut off the letter and add it to the word and the problem is solved!
Here's what I used to make this card:

Poppystamps - Dies - Friend Folksy Script
Lawn Fawn - Meow You Doin' Stamps

Lawn Fawn - Meow You Doin' Dies

Lawn Fawn - Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames Dies

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on my card or project, I appreciate it!

  1. Hope you are back to it sooner than you expect! I feel your pain... I had rotator cuff surgery on my dominant arm years ago and they forecast I would be in a sling 6 weeks. Turned out I was only in for 2 weeks because I was young(er than I am now) and actually did my PT. About 2 years ago I injured my left shoulder and instead of getting it looked at right away, I favored and babied it, and ended up with frozen shoulder, which I would not wish on an enemy. Had to have surgery to correct that and triple the PT time of the rotator cuff procedure. Do your PT homework and take your pain relievers and you'll be done with both in no time! Good luck!!!!
