Toasty Greetings!

Hi!
I hope you all are enjoying your last weekend of 2019!

CAS on Friday  is having a Design Team Call,
so...you know how I love clean and simple... this is what I entered:

I think that little penguin is so sweet...no idea why he's looking a little sad today!

To make this card I used the stamp set from My Favorite Things called Toasty Greetings.
First I stamped the penguin on light gold colored cardstock,
then stamped and cut out a mask and put it over the penguin
that way I could stamp the fire and it would look behind the penguin.
I also made a mask and put it over the fire.

With both masks in place, I used post it notes to block off the bottom of the card front.
Then I used blending brushes and Distress inks (Mustard seed, wild honey and ripe persimmon)
in upward strokes to get the fireside glow.

Remove all the masks and color the images and stamp the sentiment and the card is finished.
Oh, and I used a white prismacolor pencil to do the penguin and the marshmallows because
there is no white copic marker.

Thanks for stopping by
and have a
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Season's Greetings

Hi!
This week challenge #528 at Little Red Wagon
 is all about Christmas.
Time is running short, so today I made a quick and easy
last minute Christmas card.

I made this with some really pretty patterned paper
and a new die from Simon Says Stamp.
To give it a little dimension, I layered the words two deep and
then added some clear Wink Of Stella for a little glitz.
Here's a closer look:

Head on over to The Little Red Wagon
check out what the other girlfriends have made
and  link up your own Christmas card!

Thanks for stopping by.
'til next time,
Doni

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on my card or project, I appreciate it!

Bells gone wild!

Hi!
It's Wednesday and time for a brand new Challenge at Little Red Wagon
I'm the hostess this week and I chose the theme "Bells gone wild!".
Christmas bells, Wedding bells, bells to ring in the New Year,
School bells, Door bells...well you get the idea.
Have fun with this.

I am still making Christmas cards so I chose Jingle Bells.
 This is what I used:
Quickutz die( remember those ?) - Bell
My Favorite Things DieNamics - Horizontal Snow drifts cover
Happy Little Stampers - Mixed Christmas Sentiments
red glitter paper and thin red ribbon

Now you can head on over to The Little Red Wagon  ,
check out what the other girlfriends have made.

Thanks for stopping by.
'til next time,
Doni

Frosty and Cold

Hi!
Check out Addicted To Stamps Challenge.
For challenge # 180  Chrissy chose the theme of Frosty and Cold.

I'm still working on my Christmas cards, so I took this
as an opportunity to make one more.

These little guys may be outside where it's "Frosty and Cold"
but they're cute enough to warm anybody's heart!

Here's a close up so you can see the snow and the sparkley parts better:

supplies used:
Whipper Snapper Designs - image
Simon Says Stamp - Happy Christmas stamp set (sentiment)
Simon Says Stamp - Falling Snow stencil
Ranger - texture paste
Copic markers

Thanks for stopping by.
This is the last posting for the Addicted To Stamping Challenge Blog.
I have really enjoyed being a member of their design team.
Love to all.

spoils you rotten

Hi!
It´s  Challenge time over at Little Red Wagon.
This week the topic chosen by Imke is "wrap it up".
This time of year automatically made me think of Christmas presents.

I love this cute little elf!
I used B.B. Santa's Elves stamp set with matching
Die-Namics from My Favorite Things to make this card.
 Hope you like it.

'til next time,
Doni
