sympathy card

Today I found a new (to me) challenge
This is a Hero Arts Sketch Challenge.
This was the sample card:
I totally fell in love with this card, so I pretty much kept the same idea,
substituting  her flower for the daisies in the Hero Arts stamp set called In My Garden.
And I used the sentiment from the Hero Arts set called Remember.
So, here's what I came up with:
I used gold embossing powder and then added a little gold glitter to the flower centers.
Thanks for looking.

Happy Friday, everyone!
I am so glad that I have a wonderful craft room in which to spend my
coronavirus stay at home hours !
Today has been an adventure to be sure.
It started out when I messed up the hat on this birthday bear I was coloring
( tried to change the colors and it didn't work! lol)
Yuk...Instead of throwing it away ..
(because the bear was still really cute and it took quite awhile to color him with my copics)
I fussy cut him out.
While I was trying to figure out what to do with him,
I looked at today's challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers.
The challenge is to make a card with some shimmer or shine.

Here's what I ended up with:

It's hard to see in the picture,
but there is glossy Accents on his nose and eyes (shine)
and wink of stella on the package ribbon (sparkle).
Here's a closer look:
Much better IRL

Thanks for sticking with me!
Have some fun today!

Kate is our hostess at Little Red Wagon this week
and she's challenging us to Line It Up!
( Include a line ( or lines) on your project.

Here's mine:

I found an ink blended and water splattered piece in my stash,
so I sliced it into strips to use as "stripes" on my card front.
The smile is a die from Impression Obsession and I
found the perfect size birthday words on a stamp set
from My Favorite Things called -  It's a mice time to celebrate.

I used the thin slices that I cut from the stripes on the front
and a cute saying from a company called Deep Red for the inside:

Impression Obsession dies - Hanging Basket
Honey Bee Stamps - Blah Blah Blah stamp

Another week has flown by and it´s challenge time again over at Little Red Wagon.
Brenda is our hostess and challenges us
to use something  reused/recycled on our cards.
Here's my card:

The thing that I recycled was a little note card that a friend sent me.
The laser cut tree on the front was so pretty .
I reused the tree by putting the card front on to a blue A2 card base
and adding the die cut sentiment (Avery Elle with sympathy die).
Easy Peasy!

Box Card

I'm looking forward to June with nice warm sunny days,
...and still doing the social distancing thing...
So I made a box card with the theme of
soaking up the sun while staying six feet apart and drinking!

Here's what I came up with:

and another view:
so, Here's To You...CHEERS!

I used the stamp set called Penguins in Paradise by MFT.
and the  large word cheers is a die also from MFT.

Thanks for stopping by.

Circle Shape

JanR is our hostess at Little Red Wagon this week
and she's challenging us to SHAPE UP!
I'm glad she doesn't want me to diet, just to make a shaped card.

I chose to make a circle easel card.

Birthday Flowers

This week challenge is #548 at Little Red Wagon.

I'm the hostess this week and I'd love to see Flowers,
it can be just one or many....just as long as they bloom!
I made this card for my sister-in-law. Her favorite color is blue.
I used the Stitched Flowers dies from My Favorite Things.
All the flower pieces and leaves were die cut from white cardstock
and then colored with distress inks.
The sentiment was made from a stamp set
called Birthday Messages by Simon Says Stamp
the number is from a stamp set by Heidi Swapp and colored blue with copic markers.

I'm looking forward to seeing your beautiful flowers this week
and visiting you on your blogs.

'till next time,
