Have a Blast!

Brenda is our hostess  for challenge #555 at Little Red Wagon this week.
She's challenging us to have a sun, moon, planets or stars on our projects.
Here's mine:
It's a shaker card and when you shake it
you can see all the little sparkly stars .
I used the stamp set called " Space Explorer" from My Favorite Things.

Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday Panda

JanR is our hostess at Little Red Wagon this week.
The topic this week is Animal Antics.

I choose a sweet little panda and my favorite color (lime green) !

The stamps I used are both from Simon Says Stamp -
Cuddly Critters and Cuddly Critters Accessories

Wink of Stella on the hat, bow tie and balloon
and some sequins to a little bling finish this card.

Oh, gee...almost forgot the green. It was ink blended with mowed lawn Distress Ink.

Thanks for stopping by.

I played along with a Splitcoast Stampers challenge
and made this:

I did the no line coloring technique where you stamp the image with a very light colored ink.
I used Hero Arts Shadow Ink - soft sand and colored with my Copic Markers.

Here's a real close up:
I like the way it turned out, However it took me about four hours to color it!
Don't think I'll be making a bunch of them!!!!

Thanks for looking.

Ink Blended Backgrounds

Imke is our hostess  for challenge #552 at Little Red Wagon this week
and she's challenging us to use patterned paper or to create
our own background paper.

This week I did a "twofer"

I did some Distress Ink blending.
On the left I blended  twisted citron, squeezed lemonade, and carved pumpkin
from left to right and then sprinkled some water on it.
The pink background is pickled raspberry bottom to top giving it an ombre look.
On this one I sprinkled some water but then I also made a  watery puddle of ink on an
acrylic block, dipped a little brush in it and splattered some pink ink.
Hope you like them... I made a mess on my desk and had fun!
to finish  I used the Hooray die from Honey Bee Stamps
and Greeting from Happy Hippos by MFT.

Thanks for stopping by.
'til next time,
