Backgrounds

Hi!
Brenda is our hostess  for challenge #560 at Little Red Wagon this week.
She would like us to make our own background paper by stamping,  smooshing,
paper piecing ....or as in my case...doing a little water coloring.

To create this background sky I tapped some distress ink ( broken china)
onto my glass mat..or you could use an acrylic block ..
spritzed it with water and then picked the color up with my paintbrush and
dabbed it in the left top corner of the paper...wa-la... sky!
The cute little clouds are Lawn Cuts ( simple Puffy Cloud Frames)
with some vellum behind them.
The cute bunny and the sentiment are from Casual Fridays Stamps,
colored of course with copics .
Both the bunny with his balloon and the sentiment strip are popped up with foam tape.

Thanks for looking.
'till next time,
Doni

Hugs & Wishes

Hi!
Today I was just playing with making ink blended backgrounds.
I liked this one with the splatters, so I made it into this cute birthday card.

Hope you like it.

Thanks for looking.

'till next time,

Fantasy

It's hard to believe that we're half way through the month of July already.
But here we are and it's my turn to host the challenge this week at Little Red Wagon
I chose the theme "FANTASY"
so bring on your Dragons, Fairies, Mermaids, Gnomes ...
or in my case...Unicorns!
But most of all, have some FUN!

It's hard to see in the photo, but all the images are loaded with glitter...
because glitter is magical!
I used the stamp set from Mama Elephant.

Thanks for stopping by!

'till next time,
Doni

Embossing

Hi!
Imke is our hostess  for challenge #557 at Little Red Wagon this week.
She would like to see embossing, either heat or dry.
So, being the overachiever that I am ( ha-ha) I chose to do both!

For the background I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder
and for the flowers (Pretty Pink Posh-Wild Rose) I used VersaMark
and gold embossing powder on cream colored vellum.
The sentiment is from StampinUp - Rose Wonder.

Thanks for looking.
'till next time,
Doni

Summer

Hi!
Kate is our hostess  for challenge #556 at Little Red Wagon this week
and she would like to see anything to do with summertime.

Here's the card that I made:

Supplies used:
My Favorite Things - Penguins in Paradise
Paper Smooches - Kindness Sampler
Neat & Tangled - Hello Summer Dies
Simon Says Stamp - Stitched Circles
Yep, eating ice cream bars in the sunshine is pretty much my favorite
way to spend a summer day!

Thanks for stopping by.
I hope our Sunshine challenge inspires you to make a "summer" card!

'till next time,
Doni
