Birthday Fishes

Hi! Today I'm playing along with the Featured Stamper Challenge
over at SplitCoast Stampers.

First I blended some distress ink and splattered it with water for the background.
Then I used the Horizontal snow drifts cover from My Favorite Things
to add the curvy black lines.
Next came the stamps from Rubbernecker called fish group
and the words and the top fish from a stamp set by Simon Says Stamp called Best Fishes.
This was a fun card to make...even though I have no idea what I'm going to do on the inside!

Thanks for looking.

not feeling well...

I have a good friend who is not feeling well, so I made this card for her today.

I was inspired by today's challenge at SplitCoast Stampers so I'm entering it there

and also at Little Red Wagon whose challenge was to emboss everything.

 Thanks for looking.

The theme for the challenge over at Double D Challenges is Pockets.

Well, I have lots of stamps, but none with any pockets...then I thought of my Kangaroo and Kangaroos have pockets!  Then my mind went to the TV commercial where the girl asks "what's in your wallet?"

This is what I ended up with!

The Kangaroo on the paper Smooches stamp does not have anything in her pocket.

So I found a picture in free clip art ...cut out the baby kangaroo, cut along the Momma's pocket line with an craft knife and inserted the baby.

Even though this is not what you normally think of when you hear pocket,

I hope it meets the challenge requirements.

Thanks for looking,
